This Jordan Spieth Take Burned My Hands

WOW. That's a strong whiff of hyperbole here from Alan Shipnuck of SI.com. He basically believes Jordan Spieth's crazy schedule in 2016 will derail his career. HIS CAREER.  AT THE AGE OF 22. He did defend his tweet and there are some fair points to be made yet to believe his 'aura' and the 'missed chance at the slam' are gone come from massive assumptions.

Yes, he will be the favorite at August. Yes, he's a terrifying golfer still. Don't forget how he closes out Chamber's Bay last season with Dustin Johnson gagging on his own club. Spieth will come back hungry and with a lighter schedule. He won't play until Wells Fargo in early May then the Players the following week. It might hurt his Masters 2016, but it's a needed lesson to be learned, he's not superman.

Barring injuries, Spieth has two decades of golf to get a grand slam. He has two decades or more for Jack's Green Jacket record. Two more decades of potential collapses or chokes.  Golfers still fear Spieth as only two golfers have beat him at Augusta in the last three years.

Charlie.
