From the clouds, MMA superstar Connor McGregor decided to retire from the sport. The most marketable star of Dana White's machine announced on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that he's done for good. White made it clear this wasn't some stunt as McGregor is off the UFC 200 card. What a mind boggling move by him. McGregor isn't one to keep his mouth shut therefore I'm sure we'll hear why in coming days.
I wonder if WWE is the next spot for McGregor. He followed a few WWE superstars a little while back, and there wouldn't be anyone more perfect for the sport than McGregor. He's Daniel Bryan in terms of size with the edge of CM Punk. It's the ideal combination for the WWE in desperate need of a new superstar.
