Weekends are real busy for me in the coming weeks meaning the blog posts will not be as frequent as I would like them to be therefore look forward to posts such as these ones where we are recapping what the Bucks did on Friday and Sunday.
Milwaukee 109 Philadelphia 108
Bucks did everything they possibly could have to lose this basketball game. Milwaukee had a 17-point lead at halftime, and they couldn't close out Philly. They even struggled in the overtime period although it was great to see Jabari Parker hit a three to seal the deal in the extra session. Khris Middleton had a massive game in his return back with 36 points, nine assists and six rebounds. This is one of Middleton's best games of the season. John Henson had a big night with 18 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Not surprising, Giannis Antetokounmpo flirted with a triple-double with 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists plus he did well at the point.
Boston 124 Milwaukee 109
This was a great tank game for Milwaukee. They came out like gangbusters in the first quarter with Antetokounmpo doing everything then they quietly faded off as Boston overpowered them as they've done this season. Milwaukee couldn't stop Tyler Zeller off all people who led the team in scoring with 26 points. The biggest bright spot though featured Antetokounmpo making four threes in the game. He finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. If Giannis is consistently making threes, he will be one of the more unguardable players in the league. Miles Plumlee also had a nice game with 16 points.
Next up: Huge game tonight for the tank as Milwaukee plays Orlando. Bucks are currently at the 10th spot with Orlando at eleventh up one game on Milwaukee. If the Bucks lose out, there's still an outside shot for the seventh or eighth slot in the draft.
Charlie.
