Bucks Weren't In Shape to Begin Year
Milwaukee Bucks did their exit interviews yesterday, and John Henson had some pretty interesting comments when it came to being in shape to start the season. Henson points out the first 15 games which were a struggle for Milwaukee, and I've pointed out the fact if they were .500 on the road, they win 43 games. All of these signs point to the team itself was far too young and lacked leadership.
Many of these players think they don't need to put the work in and can come in ready to go because they're young and immature. The road is a place where you can go out and have a good time especially in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and many others. I'm willing to bet the Bucks really didn't have the focus needed on the road due to activities of last night.
One, it's good Henson said something about it (Khris Middleton said something similar as well about needing to be better in the summer). Two, it will not happen again if the players on the Bucks give a shit about winning. It's all a learning experience and you hope Milwaukee did a lot of growing this season despite the win/loss record.
Charlie.
