Warriors Will Get a Chance at 73-9

Golden State Warriors needed to win out to get to 73 wins. After this weekend, they will get a chance to on Wednesday night. Golden State beat Memphis by one and likely bailed out by the officials then they took care of business in San Antonio for the first win there in 33 tries. Warriors will now have an opportunity to break Chicago's record on Wednesday night which is must-watch television. But more importantly, this was a huge win for Golden State's psyche heading into the playoffs.

San Antonio was undefeated at home plus held this incredible record against the Warriors. If the Spurs were to win last night, many would wonder if Golden State could win in San Antonio, Texas?  Now a seven-game series could still be won without winning a road game, but it makes things exponentially harder. Warriors proved to themselves they can win at the AT&T Center which is a huge boost of confidence. After a bad night there a month ago, Steph Curry had 37 points and dominated this basketball game submitting his final tape for MVP.

Golden State tied what many thought to be an unbreakable record. Now, they will have a chance to break on Wednesday night. I hope Michael Jordan comes to East Bay. I get he has his own team, but still, it would be great for Jordan to be there for the final game of the year.

Charlie.
