Weirdly, this is our second hockey post of the day and it's not even 8:30 am. Andrew Shaw, a catalyst of the Chicago Blackhawks team, received a costly late-game penalty. Chicago trailed St. Louis by a goal, and Shaw's interference penalty led to the Blackhawks being short-handed. Shaw went for the trifecta after the penalty with double-birding the official then calling him a 'fucking faggot' inside the penalty box. Pete Blackburn, must-follow for hockey and other things, caught it all.

People aren't really happy for Shaw, and it's justified. That's a word I feel many of us have eliminated from our vocabulary. Shaw will try to say he got 'caught up in the moment' but that's a hollow thing to say. He's a good dude who said the wrong thing at the wrong time and will potentially face punishment in an elimination for Chicago.
