I would love a more creative name than 'Playoffs Recap' but this is going up late among other things. Anyways, I'm hoping these will be up daily until we get into the championship series where we'll do more of a 'Bucks Buzz' feel to things. Enjoy.
Golden State 115 Houston 106
Headline: What an embarrassment - Why does James Harden show up to the final two games? These team laid down versus Golden State including some really bad lineups in the fourth quarter. Can't lose to a Steph-Curry less, he would have beat you by this same margin. Pathetic.
Player of the Game: Andre Igoudala - Playoff Andre is activated after a tough first game. Iggy woke up from a rough first outing for a big Game 2 with 18 points and four threes off the bench. He helped fill the Curry void along with Shaun Livingston.
Dallas 85 Oklahoma City 84
Headline: Kevin Durant played a bad game - One of the worst ones we have seen from Kevin Durant in quite some time. He missed 20 straight shots tonight. Durant finished going 7-for-33 including missing the game-winner lay-up to win. Rough night for Durant, but he should be in full force in Game 3.
Player of the Game: Raymond Felton - BY GOD, THAT'S RAY FELTON'S MUSIC. The chubby point guard got it done on Monday with a double-double with 21 points and eleven assists. Felton proved to be the catalyst of this team down the stretch.
Toronto 98 Indiana 87
Headline: Lowry and DeRozan, better but still not there: Hate to be the hater here after Toronto's win, but Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan need to get better from the field. Both players combined for 9 made baskets on 31 attempts. That's not going to get it done in the later rounds. Both players need to find themselves.
Player of the Game: Jonas Valanciunas - Another big night for the big man with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Valanciunas is proving to be a matchup nightmare for Indiana.
San Antonio 106 Memphis 74
Headline: Spurs second half adjustments prove to be the key - Memphis only trailed by eleven at halftime, and San Antonio came out with their bulldozers in the second. Spurs looked like a different team as they ran the Grizzlies out of the stadium in the second half.
Player of the Game: Kawhi Leonard - Standard night for Kawhi who got some time off after the Spurs tranquilize the Grizzlies in third. He had 20 points with four steals on 8-of-13 shooting.
Charlie.
