Brewers Trade for Sam Freeman; DFA Ariel Pena

Milwaukee Brewers made a move after the game and acquired Sam Freeman from Texas for cash. They also made a move to designate Ariel Pena for assignment. He pitched in St. Louis before his one year stint with the Rangers where he had a 2.05 ERA. Milwaukee gets another left-handed arm in their pen. Not sure if he will be a left-handed specialist or get full innings.

I don't know if we can call the Zack Greinke trade a wash yet. Jean Segura led to Isan Diaz and if he's as good as some think he might be, the Brewers will forever win the trade. If not, it's a wash deal. Johnny Hellweg is in San Diego,  and Pena struggled in the majors.
