Bucks Buzz Ep. 81: Tank Takes a Florida Vaca

What a great loss for the tank tonight. Orlando had a one game lead on the Bucks heading into tonight's game, and now Milwaukee is guaranteed the 10th spot no matter what happens the rest of the way. But Denver is tied with the Bucks, and Sacramento is currently beating Phoenix which would make a three-way tie for the eighth slot. I'm not sure how tiebreakers would work from there, but if Milwaukee could end up with the eighth slot plus better odds to move into the top three, that's great.

Player of the Game (Magic):  Mario Hezonja - I'm a spiteful son of a bitch so I will not give out to Ersan Ilyasova who had a nice game with 22 points and six rebounds. Hezonja had a nice night in the starting role with 19 points, seven assists and five steals. I do think he could be a key contributor next year if the Magic look to turn it around for a much better season.

Player of the Game (Bucks): Greg Monroe - This might be the final send off for Greg Monroe when it comes to good games with the Milwaukee Bucks. Monroe finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. This is the first game in quite some time Monroe has been the lead man in scoring for the Bucks. He had no problems with the second string Magic front line as Vucevic and Gordon rested tonight.

Highlight: Plumlord's rebounding - The past few games have really shown why Miles Plumlee and John Henson work with this team. One of the two seems to have a big night pending on the matchup. Plumlee only had four points, but he pulled down 13 rebounds including nine of them on the defensive end. He looked like he was on springs all night. Good night for him.

Lowlight: Giannis didn't do much - This really isn't anything to fret about but Giannis Antetokounmpo clearly looked out of sorts tonight after an overtime win last night in Philadelphia. He only put up seven shots for the entire game. Small potatoes.

What's Next? -  Milwaukee finishes up the season against Indiana. The Pacers clinched a playoff spot, but they do not know their seeding yet as they are deadlocked with Detroit. Pacers get New York at home and Milwaukee while Detroit gets Miami at home and Cleveland on the road. Much harder for Detroit.
