Packers Schedule Likes and Dislikes

Truly, it's stupid to talk about an NFL schedule in April. There's too much other pressing issues to talk about rather than a schedule which really won't have legs until after the draft. We have no idea if players will make a move, or where some quarterbacks are playing next year. Green Bay has the easiest schedule by 2015 standards yet some are poking holes in it. Par for the course or justified?

LIKE: Green Bay finishes up the season with four of the last five games at home. Packers will have a great advantage for playoff positioning down the stretch of the regular season.

DISLIKE: Packers Week 4 bye is the worst. One of the biggest bummers you can  get for your team is the week four bye. That can really be costly when injuries start to pile up in Week 8 or Week 9. Packers do get 10 days off in October as well.

LIKE: A slow start shouldn't happen for this team. People will drum up Jacksonville's improvements plus being in the sticky conditions yet that should be a victory. Minnesota might not go well but knowing Aaron Rodgers, he'll want to ruin the celebration with a huge night. And in Week 3, Green Bay owes Detroit some payback.

DISLIKE: I hate the back-to-back primetime games. I will pray to the flex gods Washington ends up being Washington again and wins like five games. Green Bay going on the road in two primetime environments is almost guaranteeing a loss.

Season should be a fun one as Green Bay looks to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time in six years.

Charlie.
