Rumors are swirling around what teams might have early interest for Dwight Howard. The candidates so far are Orlando, Charlotte, Portland and Milwaukee. All four have young, talented, rosters to be prennieal playoff teams. But are we sure Howard isn't a vile teammate who seems to always burn whatever bridge he's on?
Charlotte makes the most sense. They have the Michael Jordan influence to keep him in check, and Steve Clifford is a no nonsense coach. Milwaukee would probably be third. They are a young team needing veteran leadership, but that's not what Howard will bring to the table. Instead, he will bring demands to be the number one and try to be the star of the team taking the shine away from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.
If Howard were an above average role player and acted like it, I'm all for it. Howard's skills and stature are perfect for Milwaukee yet he's a diva, and Milwaukee isn't a place where divas succeed, ask Sheffield.
Charlie.
