Lakers Need Their Own The Future Moment

It's not everyday you say the Los Angeles Lakers should act more like the
Milwaukee Bucks, but it's true today. Los Angeles needs to bury the past when Kobe Bryant is done playing and look towards the future. Lakers had a great win last night over Miami, and it might cost them in the draft. But what's exciting is it features all young guys making big players like Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle. Lakers have a young nucleus, now it's time to weed out the characters.

Nick Young and Metta World Peace shouldn't be on NBA rosters. Lou Williams is not a Laker and better suited for a playoff run. They aren't helping the team one bit. Same goes for Roy Hibbert's ghost. This way the door opens for D'Angelo Russell, Clarkson and Randle. Additionally, Lakers could add a Jared Dudley-type or Zaza Pachulia, they add some veteran leadership with actual leader and not standing ovations in opposing stadiums.

Lakers will not solve their problems by acquiring players like DeMar DeRozan and Hassan Whiteside. That doesn't fix the structure of this team or the coach who hates the youth more than your old neighbor.
